I must say that I just discovered this website while doing a search for Kit McElroy, who came to mind when I saw Mark Bahti in the Safeway this evening. I still remember when Mark's dad visited our class at Cragin Elenmentary school back in the late '50s to show slides and discuss his trips and adventures south of the border.

Kit McElroy, Everett Castle, Mario daCunha - where are you?

I graduated from the UofA - mechanical/electrical engineering. Worked at Hughes, AirResearch, Arete, etc., before spending about 15 years in Space Sciences (Lunar & Planetary Lab)at the UofA.

I have many fond memories of my time at Catalina. I still remember Mrs. Griffith (Chuck Griffith's mother) telling me (we used to car-pool to school) that these were the easiest (and best) year of our lives.

I think she was right!
