My Story - Linda Lyons Aho

| Denny and I have been married
for 30 years and have 3 grown children, and 5 grandchildren. My husband
is a church planter, and pastor--we are presently just finishing our
newly constructed church building. Our daughter and son-in-law are on
staff, helping us in the work here. (He's the best youth pastor you
could ask for!) Our son and daughter-in-law are a great blessing to
us, as well. Our youngest, Lisa, is a sophomore at Pensacola Christian
College, singing her way through college. (She's a soprano in one of
the "Joy Quartets" which represents the school, travelling and recruiting
during Christmas and summer vacations). Denny and I find great fulfillment in pastoring and nurturing this newly established Baptist Church, which didn't exist 5 years ago. This past year I got my real estate license, and find my new career very exciting. Since we have lived, and owned homes in 4 different states, I believe in the advantages of owning real estate. Previously I had worked for Hospice and Visiting Nurse as a home care aid, and before that, when my children were young, I had my own tailoring and alteration business. My children and grandchildren are the joys of my life. No one could be more proud than I am of them. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams! |
