After high school went to UofA. Spent two years
studying architecture, then moved to business
college. Graduated in 1972 and worked as auditor for
City of Scottsdale. Married in 1975, passed CPA exam
and went to work for State of Oklahoma for the State
Auditor in 1979. Served as a County Manager for
Cleveland County (Norman, OK) from 1981 to 1987
before coming back to Tucson to work for Pima
County. Wife, Nancy has a Masters in Library Science from OU
and is Head Librarian at Broken Arrow High School,
having served as Head Libratian at Amphitheater High
School when we lived in Tucson. Daughter Annie teaches Special Needs kids for Tulsa Public Schools and daughter Katie is a Marketing Director for Urban Active Fitness Centers (Lexington, KY) Carl Remus |
