Edward Jason "Jake" Root Jr. passed away unexpectedly July 1, 2011. A loving father, grandfather, friend, and animal lover, Jake's infectious smile and generous heart touched everyone who had the privilege to know him. He was a jack of all trades and was always there to lend a helping hand. Jake had many loves in his life, but for the last 16 years, nine months, 25 minutes, and 10 seconds, give or take a few, there was Nancy. In good times and in bad, and there were oh so so many good times. We are heart broken, we are lost, but it was an honor and privilege to have known you. You lived your life to the fullest Jake, and oh what a life it was!

Jake is survived by his daughter, Britany Root and son Jake Root, sister, Sally Butler (Randy) and numerous loved ones, friends and many animals.
